Send Help

I had a rough day, it's actually been a rough week. The laundry bin is having difficulty closing, the ants go marching one by one all over my floor (does anyone else have this problem when the weather changes), I'm trying to plan Landon's first birthday party and trying to fit in some me-time, play with Landon, ensure dinner is ready.. I'm rambling, but it's just been a lot as of lately.

Yesterday my husband came home and the dishes hadn't been washed, dinner hadn't been started and my only accomplishment was finishing centrepieces.  He came home with groceries, packed them away, washed the dishes and suggested what I should make for dinner. He didn't give me the side eye and he even made me lunch! You guys- I was so surprised and all I could think of was a prayer I made weeks ago, now I'm not even sure if I prayed it - but I definitely thought it.

"Sometimes I just need some help"

We all can be in that place where we are overwhemed with the tasks we have. Sometimes a planner and a to-do list just isn't enough. We all get behind sometimes. Will I provide a list of how to manage your daily duties better, no because I myself always seem to fall behind- so you don't want my advice lol What I will say- is it's perfectly normal to fall behind, to be too prideful to ask for help and sometimes you need to take step back. But don't wait until the one time the person you expect to read your mind is actually able to- just ask.

I'm sure as you are reading this there is a time that comes to mind when you needed an extra hand, and a person you could have asked for help but you didn't. It's funny though, because a recent "send-help" epidemic has broken out. I see it all the time on different posts on instagram and it is usually done in a humorous way, but the reality is we do need help sometimes.

I really believe that help is sent to us in our time of need if we just simply ask. Whether its in prayer, a friend, a spouse or loved one. This post was inspired by my husbands spur of the moment help. I am so grateful for him.

I hope this post helps someone that needs to know, it's okay to ask for help sometimes.
